Margot Robbie bringing Disneyland’s Big Thunder Mountain to the big screen

Bert & Bertie (“Hawkeye”) will direct, and Margot Robbie and Ridley Scott will produce, a feature film adaptation of the Disneyland attraction “Big Thunder Mountain” for the house of mouse.

LuckyChap Entertainment and Scott Free have tapped with Kieran and Michele Mulroney, of “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows”, to write the film which is inspired by a ride fixing on a town where gold is discovered.

Robbie has also been associated with a reboot of “Pirates of the Caribbean”, also based on a Disneyland attraction, for the studio.
