Marlon Wayans talks Scary Movie 5

I caught up with funnyman Marlon Wayans at the press day for the [surprisingly] very funny ”Dance Flick” a couple of days back, and we got talking about whether or not he might return to do another ”Scary Movie” (if even because the IMDB has him listed as the writer of the next one).

“Ya know, that’s a tough question – because I didn’t like where they went with Scary Movie 3 thru 5”, says Wayans, who wrote. “I didn’t like what they did there, or the lack of appreciation for the job we did. I could say never say never – but it’s a pretty tough decision. [Dance Flick] was a much cooler experience than doing Scary Movie.”

Sounds like a no to me.

Anna Faris told Clint here at Moviehole last week that she’s heard absolutely nothing about a “Scary Movie 5” though doesn’t doubt it’ll happen one day, and is almost certain she’ll be in it when it does get up.
