Marvel, whose “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” series premieres on ABC next week, might be readying another comic-book property for TV.
The Hollywood Reporter says “Agent Carter”, which originated as a bonus one-shot (short film) on the “Iron Man 3” Blu-ray, might be headed to a regular spot on TV.
Agent Carter is Steve Rogers/Captain America’s girlfriend, played by Hayley Atwell. It’s unclear whether Atwell, who originated the role of Peggy Carter in “Captain America : The First Avenger”, will reprise the role for the small-screen version.
Nothing is certain on the “Carter” series yet, warns the trade, but with superhero films and series still as popular as ever, wouldn’t expect this to take long to come together.
