Matt Damon is circling “The Great Wall”, according to Deadline. Zhang Yimou’s long-gestating China-set pic reveals the mystery behind why the Great Wall was built.
Henry Cavill and Benjamin Walker were attached to an earlier incarnation of the film.
The project would reunite Damon with Tony Gilroy; the “Bourne” scripter wrote the most recent draft of “Great Wall”.
Damon, who next stars in Ridley Scott’s “The Martian”, has a pretty full plate – – so it’s anyone’s guess when this will actually happen.. or if it can.
