Noah Oppenheim (“The Maze Runnner”) will adapt Veronica Roth’s third in the “Divergent” series, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Allegiant” will be split into two-films; Oppenheim is currently charged only with the mission of adapting the first of the two films.
In “Allegiant : Part 1” and “Allegiant : Part 2”, Tris and Four discover that the world they grew up in may all be a lie, and they’ll have to make hard choices that could change their lives forever.
The next film in the series “Insurgent” is in theaters March 20, 2015, with the first half of “Allegiant” due March 18 2016.
