The sequel to “Wolverine†is already shaping up to be better than it’s predecessor (not that that’d be hard), with Fox hiring Christopher McQuarrie (“Valkyrieâ€, “Apt Pupilâ€) to pen the film.
McQuarrie, a frequent collaborator of Bryan Singer, worked on the original “X-Men†film, but didn’t take a credit.
The screenwriter pitched his take several days ago for a storyline that is set in Japan and based on the Chris Claremont-Frank Miller comicbook series “The Samurai.” That story, of course, centers on Logan’s evolution into a samurai.
