Men In Black 4 to feature a woman in black

Looks like “Men In Black 4” will star a woman in black.

“Men In Black” producer Laurie MacDonald has told the BBC that there will be “a prominent woman in black in the fourth [film].”

MacDonald is developing the fourth installment with husband Walter Parkes, who told the BBC that while franchise star Will Smith is currently not attached to the project, “Never count Will out.”

The promise of a female “Men In Black” agent is an intriguing one. The original 1997 film introduced Linda Fiorentino’s female agent to the franchise at the end of the first film, however the character was noticeably absent from the two sequels.

The sequel also presents the question of how the film would fit into the rumoured development of a “Men In Black” and “21 Jump Street” franchise crossover project, which “Jump Street” helmers Phil Lord and Chris Miller are apparently developing at Sony.
