Helen, you need to go back and read the news story again – I assume you read the news story on our page? – and check the bit at the top marked ‘updated’; Warner Bros has debunked the news, saying that Watson will indeed be back for the next two “Potter” movies. – Clint

Anything going on on the grapevine? Um, nothing but apples. Hmm, feel like I’m starting to repeat myself here – none the less, no movement on “Scream 4” yet. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s fallen through, Craven seems much more interested in remakes right now, not sequels. And in my opinion, they should leave it alone – especially if David Arquette is the only guy interested in coming back- Clint
From Ingrid : I love Cate Blanchett and I have faith in her fitting in Indiana Jones. But worries me is the script when you said its not that good. Have you read the script yourself to make this final judgment?
I didn’t say the script is not that good. I said I’m questioning why someone of Blanchett’s calibre has been cast in the movie – they’ve never had to cast a big-name female lead in any of the other “Indiana” films. I just don’t want to see the new “Jones” sequel to be all about “names” and not enough about “characters”. – Clint

Yeah, as I mentioned yesterday – in the news item about the “Shocker” remake – if there’s a reason for the remake to exist, and if they think they can improve on the original, and if the original is dated… then maybe, consider doing it again. But not this. Next year, they’ll be remaking “Ghostbusters” or some shit… it’s just getting out of control- Clint

From Jason : I have been a long time fan of the “Quantum Leap” series. I was ecstatic to hear that they were making a movie and new series back in the winter of 2005, so I eagerly waited on pins and needles for it to be released. Sadly over a year later I haven’t seen it or heard anything about it. Even when I researched it lately it seems to have disappeared. I did see that it was rumored to begin filming in January of 06 but that is it. Then I came across this site and wanted to see what I could dig up. Is there any light at the end of the tunnel for us die-hard fans? I would love to know any information you have..
Get off those pins and needles. There hasn’t been any news on the “Quantum Leap” movie (or telemovie, or mini-series) for quite some time. I dare say the producers are out there to trying to make it happen, but it doesn’t look like anyone wants in. The last bit of solid news on this project was in 2004, when Donald P. Bellisario, producer/creator, told The Washington Post that he was planning a series version – it would star Dean Stockwell, and Scott Bakula would guest in the first episode. – Clint

Welcome. Reese bailed out because she actually thought it was a children’s movie that would’ve given her the opportunity to get about in a Bunny suit. In all seriousness, no idea. As for the “Gump & Co” movie… very legit. I don’t know what stage the movie is at – or whether it will happen anytime soon – but I’ve heard the same rumours. – Clint

There’s a possibility that he may be doing the “Mrs Doubtfire” sequel, yeah. Bonnie Hunt is writing it. As for “Jumanji 2”? No. Can’t see that happening – if only because they already kinda did it… “Zathura”. Yeah, he was good in the 90s … I can’t tell you how many people would love to see a “Bicentennial Man II”. – Clint
