I don’t have much time at the moment… seem to be in transit all the time… but I’ve had a few people ask me lately why I haven’t done the Mailbag in a couple of weeks. Rather than answer them, I just thought I’d do one (I sound like a hooker whose just been asked if she can discount a guy because it’s his birthday). A. And that’s why you have been prescribed those pills and I haven’t. Right-on!
Q.When are you going to start selling ‘I love Holden’ T-Shirts? – Trevor
A. When we can find a ‘General Lee’ transfer big enough to fit on the front of a T-Shirt (thinking of having a face, and next to it ‘Yee-Haw!’ on some Y-fronts, too!). (Speaking of which, my wife is after one of those T-Shirts that say “The original Britney” (as in ‘the Chipmunk’) on them. Anyone know where I can get one?)
Q.Who do you think should play General Thunderbolt Ross in the new “Hulk” film? – Walker
A. I’m bias, but I think Muse Watson would be terrific. He would rock that role. I don’t know whether that character has a big role to play in the new film though? No idea. The emphasis may be on Tim Roth’s character, Abominable. I look the sound of this new ‘Hulk’ film though; it’s got a great cast – Norton, Roth, Tyler. Apparently Lou Ferrigno’s getting a ‘good’ cameo this time around, too.
Q. In you recent article, “Exclusive Interview : Bill Paxton”, there are so many inaccuracies that I wonder how you even publish anything? The investigative prowess of a five year old will yield the fact that the Mormon Church ceased the practice of polygamy in 1890. Those groups practicing polygamy have no connection to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In fact, if a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is found practicing polygamy, they are excommunicated. It is too bad that good and factual writing is not to be found on your website. – David
A. Here’s Guy Davis’s – the writer of the interview – response to you: ‘please let him know I had no intention of belittling his faith. I was more interested in Bill’s artistic take on Big Love than any insights he might have had into the Mormon lifestyle. Or just tell him to go forth and multiply, not unlike the characters in the show do!’. Here’s my response to you: Oh, you can’t see the middle finger I have up via your web cam? Well that wasn’t worth it.
Q. hey clint i herd that ther might be a new star wars move. It takes plays 800 years before episode one.. I hop it is not true. I love star wars but you can’t over do it. Q.hey bro, any news on blade 4 and does dimension plan on anymore halloween movies or is the rob zombie version the last. – Les
A. The “Blade” film series is dead, my man. For the moment anyway. They were talking about doing a “Nighstalkers” spin-off – with Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel reprising their roles from “Blade Trinity” – at one stage, but everyone – most notably, the studio, who weren’t ecstatic with the response “Trinity” got – went cold on the idea. The ‘Halloween’ series as we know it… is dead, the Rob Zombie version of “Halloween” is the first of what’s supposed to be a ‘new series’ of Michael Myers’ episodes.
Q.Hello there. I was wondering, Is Heath Ledger signed on for 2 Batman movies? I hope so; I don’t want to see the Joker killed off in the ‘Dark Knight’ like Jack Nicholson’s Joker was killed in the original ‘Batman’. Thanks as always – Trevor
A. I believe Ledger is indeed signed on for a couple of movies – so no, he won’t be biting the dust in the next film, if at all. I think The Joker and Two Face are sharing villain duties over the next couple of films – that could change though, and Schwarzenegger may be back as ‘Mr Freeze’ for one of them. (Chill AB King! That’s a joke! No Arnie in Batman Begins 4!)

A. Yeah Zod may indeed be in the next one – “Superman”, that is, not “Dukes”.

A. I knew someone out there would think the prequel to the prequel idea would be ‘ really cool’.
Q. hey clint when do you think they come with knight rider movie they story for it and too i hope a new dukes of hazzard3 any way hope they can get something good any way if they can do it then both movies worth to go see if good and clean any way holden – Doom
A. Or, just combine both? Have “Knight Riders of Hazzard”?
