A sequel to 2002’s “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” is in the works over at Gold Circle and HBO.
Stars Nia Vardalos and John Corbett are set to return for the next instalment which will catch up with Toula and Ian over a decade after their wedding.
The film will centre on the Portokalos family who’re brought together for another wedding, however this time a huge family secret has just been revealed.
Variety reports that Vardalos will write and direct the sequel which will see Rita Wilson of Playtone produce with Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman. Paul Brooks, Scott Niemeyer, Norm Waitt, Steven Shareshian and Vardalos will exec produce.
