MY BROTHER’S RAGE is a powerfully told story of the undying bond between two brothers. Jade (Zane Dirani) is the ultimate fighter, who in the past, has risked his life every day to recover anything the boss (David, played by Jaason Simmons) wants, so that his younger brother may have a better chance at life. Jade fought his way through the ranks to earn his keep, but left that particular field of the underworld behind. That is, until the boss decides that Jade must fight again. Jade refuses, knowing this seedy world is not for him anymore. His younger brother, Cruz (Mo Dirani) has grown into a mature and successful doctor. Now that he does not have to guide his younger brother anymore, Jade wants his chance at a better life too.

But the time for dreams and desires are cut short for Jade. The boss puts a hit on Jade, who is inevitably murdered in broad daylight, falling into Cruz’s arms as the gunshots riddle his body. Traumatized by this event, their father Pedro (George Ginis) suffers a heart attack, and Cruz ultimately becomes the man he never dreamt he would turn out to be. Cruz, hell bent on revenge, infiltrates the underworld in search of his brother’s killer.
MY BROTHER’S RAGE will be filmed on location in Melbourne’s inner city suburbs (Yarraville, Footscray, South Melbourne) throughout July and August, 2014.
