No doubt seeing the trouble everyone’s having spelling “Rogue” at the moment, Legendary has opted to tweak the title of it’s upcoming “Pacific Rim” sequel to, well, something slightly more Billy Madison.
“Pacific Rim : Maelstrom”, as it was previously known, will now be “Pacific Rim : Uprising”. That one, currently shooting in Australia and China, opens February 23, 2018.
Meanwhile the studio has also added a subtitle to it’s forthcoming “Godzilla” sequel, officially declaring it hereon as “Godzilla : King of Monsters”. The Michael Dougherty-directed film opens March 22, 2019.
