“The Smurfs”, director Raja Gosnell’s live-action take on the classic cartoon series. Aside from human co-stars Neil Patrick Harris, Jayma Mays and Hank Azaria, the flick features the voices of Jonathan Winters, Katy Perry and Alan Cumming.
“Shark Knight 3D”, directed by David R. Ellis, tells of a group of teenagers who run into a giant shark at one of the kids’ holiday houses. The film stars Sara Paxton of “Aquamarine” and Chris Carmack (“The OC”).
“The Descendants”, directed by Alexander Payne and starring George Clooney, is about a land baron tries to re-connect with his two daughters after his wife suffers a boating acciden.
