Our first look at the upcoming “Ocean’s Eight” has debuted in the form of the first set pictures. Check out the photos of stars Cate Blanchett, Sandra Bullock and Helena Bonham Carter below.
Sarah Paulson, Rihanna, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling and Awkwafina are also set to star in the all-female “Ocean’s Eleven” spinoff, with Gary Ross attached to direct.
In the film, Bullock will play the ex-con sister of George Clooney’s “Oceans” character Danny Ocean. She and her right-hand woman (Blanchett) will form a team of thieves to steal a necklace from the Met Ball in order to frame a villainous gallery owner.
Ross penned the script with Olivia Milch. Steven Soderbergh is producing. Susan Ekins is executive producing.
“Ocean’s Eight” will be released on June 8, 2018.
