Overboard

Stupid 80s rom-com vehicle with Kurt Russell as a builder and Goldie Hawn as a ditzy, bitchy, rich socialite whose boat he’s working on.

When she falls overboard and loses her memory, he convinces her she’s his doting wife so he can simultaneously get the money she owes him in the form of free housekeeping and get his revenge on her for being such a bitch.

We couldn’t expect much more from a director as asinine as Garry Marshall, and though I can’t even remember the ending, I’d bet every copy of ”Pretty Woman” and ”Runaway Bride” in the world she learns all about love and family and he learns that he really does love her.

Blu-ray Details and Extras

While the audio is quite good, the video presentation leaves a lot to be desired; if, however, you love a bit of grain – you’ll find your appetite taken care of.
