OCP has brought in a new penner to bring “RoboCop” back to life.
According to THR, Screenwriter Nick Schenk has been tapped to rewrite the script for the reboot, which Jose Padilha is contracted to shoot for MGM sometime… well, soonish (The film has been in the works for at least three years, so I’m sure we can wait an extra couple of months.. years).
Schenk had been working with Padilha on another pic, “Tri-Border” when the filmmaker asked whether he wanted to help out on Alex Murphy’s relaunch.
