20th Century Fox has nabbed comedy spec script “Turned On” from writer Charlie Kesslering.
According to THR, the script tells of a brilliant but awkward engineer who creates an android to fill in for her in life’s difficult situations. But things soon spiral out of control when the robot self-actualizes.
Paul Feig, who was reportedly attracted to the script’s great lead female role, will produce with Jessie Henderson.
