Paul Feig & Paramount developing a movie about Supermodels stranded in the snow?!

Paramount and Paul Feig are set to adapt Mickey Rapkin’s Elle Magazine article “Supermodel Snowpocalypse” for the big screen.

Feig will produce the film with with his Feigco partner Jessie Henderson. Chris Goldberg will co-produce.

As far as we know, Feig isn’t attached to direct.

The article – which you can read here – is described as follows (via THR):

It followed two sisters (the younger of which was 18 and freshly arrived in New York City from the Midwest), the older’s photographer boyfriend, ad execs and a group of models (including Jerry Hall and Maria Hanson) who traveled to Chile for a lavish fur-themed photoshoot…

A snowstorm hit soon after the group arrived at a mountain ski resort, but even though it was massive, the men and women put on a brave face, turning the place into their own Studio 54 with the other Brazilian and Argentinian patrons.

After being stranded for a week with no working phones (the only way to exit the hotel was through second floor windows), the American crew hatched a plan to escape back to civilization.
