Peter Rabbit to shoot in the land of Oz!

Production on Sony’s “Peter Rabbit” movie is set to take place Down Under.

The live-action/animation hybrid project will shoot in Sydney, Australia with live action lensing set to kick off in January 2017. Animation production is already underway, according to animation and visual FX production house Animal Logic.

Australian actress Rose Byrne will star in a live action role, while James Cordon will lend his voice to the titular animated character Peter Rabbit. Will Gluck will direct.
