Point Break moves to Christmas, Stallone boxing pic to bow November 25

Warner Bros. has moved its “Point Break” reboot to a Christmas release.

The studio pushed the film back five months, from a previous date of July 31 to the December 25 slot.

The move comes a week after Paramount moved “Mission: Impossible 5” forward five months, from Christmas to the July 31 date (read between the lines as you will).

“Point Break” will now open against Will Smith drama “Concussion, Fox’s Jennifer Lawrence-David O. Russell flick “Joy” and Paramount’s “Monster Trucks”.

Warner Bros. also slated Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan boxing drama “Creed” for release on November 25.
