Jimmy Smits will reprise his role as Senator Bail Organa from George Lucas’s “Star Wars” prequel trilogy in the upcoming “Rogue One : A Star Wars Story”.
The ’90s heartthrob, best known for his roles on hit series “L.A Law” and “NYPD Blue”, told the ladies of The Talk that he’s returning briefly to the Galaxy far, far away for a “small” turn in this December’s standalone “Star Wars” story.
Smits played the role of Organa in “The Phantom Menace”, “Attack of the Clones” and “Revenge of the Sith”.
Meanwhile, word has hit that a new trailer for the film is due out this coming Thursday – during coverage of the Olympics. We’ll have it when it hits!
