Pride and Prejudice and Zombies finally on; cast and director announced!

Lily James, Sam Riley and Bella Heathcote have joined the cast of “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”.

The film adaptation of Seth Grahame-Smith’s 2009 novel – a mashup of the Jane Austen classic “Pride and Prejudice” and the modern zombie horror genre – will be directed by “Charlie St. Cloud” helmer Burr Steers.
Steers penned the script with David O. Russell for Cross Creek Pictures to release in the US.

Production is set for September with James to play Elizabeth Bennet, Riley to play Mr. Darcy and Heathcote to play Elizabeth’s sister.

Cross Creek’s Brian Oliver, Allison Shearmur, Sean McKittrick, Natalie Portman, Annette Savitch, Tyler Thompson and Marc Butan are producing.
