Caffeinated Clint
Lee Pace (do his friends call him ‘Pacemaker’? If not, they should!) has confirmed rumours he’s testing for the lead human role in Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy”.
The former TV star cum flat-out busy film actor, having appeared this year in no less than three major releases (including this month’s “The Hobbit”), would play Star-Lord in the James Gunn directed visual effects demo reel.
Speaking to MTV, the “Twilight” victim said : “I go in on Monday to meet them all and audition for it, so wish me luck…I’m very excited about it. The script is great…I have been [reading up on Star-Lord]. You want to know what you’re doing. The character is a lot of fun. I hope it works out.”
Aussie Joel Edgerton is another of the actors rumoured to be gunning for the same part.
