Former “Big Love” star Douglas Smith has joined the cast of Fox sequel “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters” starring Logan Lerman and Alexandra Daddario. In the Thor Freudenthal-directed sequel, Percy heads to the Bermuda Triangle. (Variety)

Brendan Fraser and Sienna Miller have boarded Justin Long’s directorial debut “A Case of You”. Long, who co-wrote the script, plays a ”young writer who tries to impress a girl he meets online with an embellished profile, but finds himself in a real mess when she falls for him and he has to keep up the act.” (Variety)

Josh Duhamel says he won’t be back for “Transformers 4”. In fact, says the actor, “I don’t think anybody’s doing it. I know Shia [LaBoeuf]‘s not doing it. I don’t think Tyrese or Rosie [Huntington-Whiteley] or anybody else is doing it.” Meanwhile, Bad Ass Digest have some new details on the ‘reboot/sequel’, suggesting that the film – which follows on from “Dark of the Moon” – will be seen from the point-of-view of the Transformers.

Jennifer Aniston and Dennis Quaid have joined the cast of the “Jackie Brown” prequel, “The Switch”. Quaid plays a crooked real-estate developer whose wife, played by Aniston, is kidnapped. (Deadline)
