Comic-Con :

Colin Farrell stole the show at the “Fright Night” panel at Comic-Con (just as well since the film’s not exactly tracking through the roof).

Seth Rogen and Zac Efron in an untitled action comedy for Universal? Yep. Rogen plays a regular guy who lives near an alpha male fraternity house. Efron is a member of the fraternity, whose raucous behavior wreaks havoc on the other guy’s family life. Sold.

Simon Hunter (“Mutant Chronicles”) has been set to direct ”Last Blood”, a live action adaptation of the Keenspot graphic novel that takes place after a zombie apocalypse.

Alex Aja will executive produce and possibly direct the pilot episode for a new “Scanners” TV series that Dimension are developing.

Charlie Kaufman has Steve Carell, Jack Black And Nicolas Cage onboard his next “Frank Or Francis”; atypical of a Kaufman film, the project’s plot is shrouded in secrercy.

Pierce Brosnan and Annabeth Gish will star in A&E Network’s “Bag of Bones”, a two-night, four-hour mini-series, based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel. King-regular Mick Garris will direct.

Imogen Poots (“Fright Night”) will play a young woman who meets Jeff Buckley while working at the concert in “Greetings from Tim Buckley”.

One-time ‘Bourne’ contender Oscar Isaac has been cast in “Bourne Legacy” – but as “Number 3,” another brainwashed assassin in the film.

Bill Pullman will replace Harrison Ford in a telemovie sequel to “Presumed Innocent”. “Innocent”, based on the book by Scott Turow, will see Judge Rusty Sabich (Ford) charged with the murder of his ex-wife.
