“Footloose” (2.0) star Julianne Hough has snagged a role in the all-star sing-a-long-musical “Rock of Ages“. The Adam Shankman directed film stars Tom Cruise and Mary J.Blige, among others. Cruise plays an arrogant and charming rock rock at the top of his career who catches the eye of Hough’s character, a small-town girl who rejects him and ends up as a stripper before finding true love at the end. Animator Mike Salva is helping Kickstarter can, er, kickstart his new animated comedy “Pound Dogs” – about two dogs talking about eating cat poo and waiting for adoption at an animal shelter. “Jackass” trio Johnny Knoxville, Bam Margera and Ryan Dunn are attached to star along with singer Willie Nelson in the new comedy “Mustache Riders“. Knoxville is also attached to “First Man in which he “will play a man whose wife is elected president. A natural hellraiser, he has totally behaved himself during his wife’s presidential campaign, only to find the dynamic of their relationship changes after he moves into the White House and becomes First Man.
