Rachel Weisz is in talks to join Colin Firth in director James Marsh’s (“The Theory of Everything”) untitled Donald Crowhurst biopic.
The films follows the true story of amateur British sailor Crowhurst’s attempt to win the first round of the World Yacht Race in 1968.
Scott Z. Burns penned the screenplay. He will also produce with Pete Czernin, Graham Broadbent, Nicolas Mauvernay and Jacques Perrin.
Production has been slated to kick off in the spring.
