Rambo star boards Dirty Harry’s latest

SAG President Ken Howard, whose many credits over the years include recurring roles on “Melrose Place” and “Cane” as well as the films “Rambo” and “Grey Gardens”, has booked a role in Clint Eastwood’s “J.Edgar”.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Howard will play US attorney General Harlan F Stone in a biopic that chronicles the rise, fall and cross-dressing’s of FBI founder Hoover (played by Leonardo Di Caproi).

As Attorney General, Stone was responsible for the appointment of J. Edgar Hoover as head of the Department of Justice’s Bureau of Investigation, which later became the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
