Seemingly coming to terms with the fact that Bill Murray’s arm can never be twisted into reprising his role from the 1984 smash, writer and actor Dan Aykroyd tells Empire Online that they may have to recast the character.
With Venkman such an integral part of the film’s script, let alone franchise, Aykroyd’s seemingly been faced with the impossible mission of considering other actors to play the role made somewhat-famous by Murray.
And if this is true, wow… dip my cynicism in grape Slurpee juice… And who the heck would Aykroyd even consider bringing in to play Venkman? Bill’s brother Brian? Chevy Chase? Steve Martin? Jim Belushi? The mind boggles…
