If this hasn’t tipped you off, even if it doesn’t call for one, any film can spawn a sequel.
Kriv Stenders, director of the sweet, snottys-evoker “Red Dog”, tells Sky News that a sequel to the Aussie hit is in the works.
It goes without saying, it’ll be a prequel.
“Dan Taplitz, who wrote the original, pitched me a really, really great idea,” Stenders said at Tropfest.
“I don’t want to give too much away but it’s a prequel. Red Dog is a puppy.”
What more is there to give away?
