Reese Witherspoon developing Napkin Notes adaptation

Reese Witherspoon is teaming up with Bruna Papandrea’s Pacific Standard to develop a film adaptation of Garth Callaghan’s memoir “Napkin Notes: Make Lunch Meaningful, Life Will Follow.”

Mike Binder will pen the script based on the book about how Callaghan began writing short inspirational notes on napkins to put in his daughter Emma’s lunchbox every day. When he was diagnosed with five cancers, the practice took on more significance.

Witherspoon and Pacific Standard are developing the film for New Line.
