Richard Armitage (“The Hobbit” trilogy) will play The Tooth Fairy on NBC’s “Hannibal”, according to TV Line.
The Tooth Fairy, born Francis Dolarhyde, plays a pivotal role in Thomas Harris’ “Red Dragon” novel. The character was played by Tom Noonan in the film “Manhunter” and Ralph Fiennes in the film “Red Dragon”.
The character will appear in six episodes of “Hannibal””s third season, which returns in the spring.
