Ripley goes into "The Woods"

M.Night Shyamalan’s new film “The Woods” is sounding better and better everytime the trades publish an update. Hot on the heels of William Hurt joining the cast, comes news that Ellen Ripley herself, Sigourney Weaver, has signed for a role. Set in 1897, the film revolves around a close-knit community that lives with the frightening knowledge that a mythical race of creatures resides in the woods around them. Shyamalan, mastermind behind “Signs”, “The Sixth Sense” and “Unbreakbale” also wrote the script.
