Robert Redford may reunite with Disney – whom he worked on “Captain America : The Winter Soldier” with – for “Pete’s Dragon”, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The David Lowery (“Ain’t Them Body Saints”) directed remake would feature Redford as a local storyteller who knows plenty of good yarns about dragons. Mickey Rooney played the role in the original 1977 film.
The new movie, a mix of live-action and CGI, also stars Oakes Fegley and Oona Laurence. Production begins this Fall in New Zealand.
