Robin Hood to get the Avengers treatment!?

The legendary ‘Merry Men’ of the “Robin Hood” stories are set to share a cinematic universe, with Sony greasing the wheels on a new franchise from writers Cory Goodman and Jeremy Lott.

“Hood”, says Heat Vision, will kick-off of a series of films revolving around the emerald adventurer Robin Hood and his merry-men. Think “The Avengers” set in the Middle-Ages.

The tone of the story has been described as ‘’Mission: Impossible’’ and the recent ‘’Fast & Furious’’ movies.

Michael de Luca brought the project to Sony’s attention and will oversee the project.
