David Zucker casting some very famous faces
David Zucker’s new spoof, “Superhero!” (pretty self-explanatory) is on the hunt to find a ‘Pope’, ‘King of Sweden’, ‘Dalai Lama’, ‘Nelson Mandela’, ‘Queen of Sweden’, ‘Desmond Tutu’, and ‘Prince Charles’, casting agents were informed this week.
At least you won’t be all arguing in the forums about who’ll be wearing the costumes in this puppy, hey?
Filming in Los Angeles, the film tells of a high school senior who is suddenly and violently endowed with super powers and must grapple with the challenges of his new responsibilities.
Already onboard are Leslie Nielsen (not surprisingly, since he’s in near everything Zucker does); Christopher McDonald (“Happy Gilmore”); Sara Paxton; Jeffrey ‘Hey Now!’ Tambor and “Veronica Mars” star Ryan Hansen.
