Ryan Gosling is in talks to join Johnny Depp in Gore Verbinski’s “The Lone Ranger”.
Gosling would play the Lone Ranger to Depp’s Tonto in Disney’s blockbuster rejig of the classic TV series.
The Wrap, who broke the news of Gosling’s possible anointment onboard ‘Silver’ the horse and, er, ‘The Lone Ranger’, said it mightn’t come off – namely because the actor is committed to shoot the “Logan’s Run” remake at the same time “Lone Ranger” may shoot; Verbinski says “Ranger” might not shoot until 2012 though, so that work out – but at present, Gosling’s the guy.
