Sam Claflin (“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay”), Gemma Arterton (“Quantum Of Solace”) and Bill Nighy are set to star in Lone Scherfig’s “Their Finest Hour and A Half”.
Adapted from Lissa Evans’s 2009 book, the film is set in early 1940s World War II London and follows the misadventures of a British movie crew trying to make a patriotic film to boost morale during the Blitz.
Stephen Woolley and Amanda Poseyare producing for Number 9 Films and Wildgaze Films. BBC Films’ Christine Langan and Ed Wethered are exec producing.
Gaby Chiappe adapted the script. Production will kick off late in the summer.
