SJP is returning to HBO.
The “Sex and the City” star will exec produce and star in comedy series “Divorce” which HBO ordered to series on Thursday.
Molly Shannon and Talia Balsam co-star as the girlfriends of Parker’s character Francis, a woman who suddenly reassesses her life and marriage to Robert (Thomas Haden Church), and realizes that a fresh start is much harder than she thought.
Production will kick off in New York this year with series creator Sharon Horgan exec producing with Parker, Paul Simms, Alison Benson and Aaron Kaplan.
The pilot was helmed by Jesse Peretz.
