Former "Sex and the City" star John Corbett will be dowsed in corn syrup and have his cheery smile removed temporarily for a new untitled Sam Raimi produced horror effort from The Pang Brothers, directors of the scary sensations "The Eye" and "The Eye 2".
Written by Mark Wheaton, the film, which started shooting this week in Canada, tells of an ominous darkness that invades a seemingly serene sunflower farm in North Dakota and the Solomon family is torn apart by suspicion, mayhem and murder.
Kristen Stewart, Dylan McDermott and Penelope Ann Miller are also on board.
Stated Raimi and Producing partner Rob Tapert, "We’re all looking forward to getting production underway this week with such a talented cast and getting Oxide and Danny behind the camera."
