Scrooged star cashes in Gotham role

Carol Kane (“Scrooged”, “License to Drive”, “Annie Hall”) has joined the cast of FOX’s “Gotham” in a recurring role.

TVLine says Kane has been cast as Getrud, Oswald Cobblepot’s mother on the Batman-inspired drama.

Robin Lloyd Taylor plays Kane’s onscreen son, a man who’ll later go by the name ‘The Penguin’.
