Production begins on “John Wick 2” this fall, according to production company Thunder Road.
Filmamkers David Leitch and Chad Stahelski will be back at the helm, with Keanu Reeves again starring in the title role.
No word yet on a release date.
Ridley Scott wants to do more than one sequel to “Prometheus”.
Speaking to German film site Filmfutter, the filmmaker explained that down the line, say in “Prometheus 4”, he’ll join the series up with the “Alien” franchise.
“It will be in the one after this one or maybe even a fourth film before we get back into the ‘Alien’ franchise… The whole point of it is to explain the Alien franchise and to explain the how and why of the creation of the Alien itself. I always thought of the Alien as kind of a piece of bacterial warfare. I always thought that that original ship, which I call the Croissant, was a battleship, holding these biomechanoid creatures that were all about destruction.”
Speaking of Scott, the sequel to his “Blade Runner” is rumoured to be called “Android’s Dream”.
The news comes via the BBC who have noticed Warner Bros have registered the domain names for such a title.
The original “Blade Runner” was, of course, based on the book “Do Androids dream of Electric Sheep?”.
