As previously rumoured, Shannen Doherty will be reprising her role as bitchy Brenda on the new “90210â€.
Kristin at E! says the deal is as good as done, and Doherty will be rejoining her old co-star Jennie Garth (‘Kelly’) on the reformatted series this Fall. (Notice that none of the guys have agreed to resume their roles? Who knew Ian Ziering had integrity?)
An insider tells Kristin, “It is happening with Shannen. It’s just a question of how long she’ll shoot, whether it will be one day or ten, and what the storyline will be, but we are working on it and it is a very real thing.”
Notice that Tori Spelling’s name is no longer listed as a returning party member? Well, that’s because the daughter of the late Aaron has jumped ship. She’ll no longer be reprising her role as Donna for the pilot – likely because she just gave birth.
