Shephard crafts Hostages reunion on Blame

Former “Damages” star Tate Donovan has joined the cast of “Blame”, a new indie drama from actress turned filmmaker Quinn Shephard.

Donovan, also known for his roles on “The OC” and “Friends”, joins Chris Messina and Nadia Alexander in the film.

Says Deadline :

Messina plays a substitute drama teacher whose taboo relationship with an unstable student (Shephard) strikes a nerve in her jealous classmate (Alexander) and sparks some The Crucible-esque vengeance within their suburban high school. Donovan plays the stepfather of Alexander’s character.

Writer and director Shephard is an actress that played Donovan’s daughter on ”Hostages”, which lasted one season.
