Guy Ritchie – or Warner Bros; actually, probably the studio – has selected his “Sherlock Holmes”.
And it ain’t Jason Statham – as most of us probably expected.
Nope, it’s this guy.
Watcha think? Personally, I think it’s genius. And for anyone that’s worried about Downey Jr doing a British accent… you haven’t seen enough of his films; the man has just about mastered every accent there is (OK, well maybe his ‘Aussie’ needs a bit of work) – and in his next pic, “Tropic Thunder”, seemingly passes as an African-American! Shit, Michael Jackson couldn’t even do that!
