“Disturbia” director DJ Caruso is the frontrunner to direct the next “G.I Joe” movie, according to Deadline.
Caruso, currently shooting “The Disappointments Room”, would step in for “G.I Joe : Retaliation” helmner Jon M.Chu who won’t be returning.
The trade says it’s early days, but it looks like the deal will come together.
The next “G.I Joe” will – like “Retaliation” – fix on Dwayne Johnson’s character, Roadblock.
