In very tragic, distressing news, a gunman opened fire in a Louisiana theater tonight, resulting in two deaths and at least half a dozen injured.
The incident occurred in a Lafayette theater, where attendees were watching the new comedy “Trainwreck”. It’s believed the gunman attacked the 16-screen Grand Theater about 7:30 PM CT. The ages of the victims ranged from teenagers to a person in their ’60s.
Though they won’t release his name, police say the shooter was a 58-year-old white man who was a patron at the theater. It’s believed the shootings were random.
