Singer to helm Superman?

IGN Filmforce are reporting that McG’s job as Director of "Superman" isn’t as stable as the trades are making out. More importantly, they report that Bryan Singer ["X-Men"] has met with the studio to talk about taking over.

Warner Brothers president and chief operating officer Alan Horn met Singer over dinner to talk about the potential position.

"Our scooper claims that Singer has not said yes …but is considering it. How such a move will affect Singer’s other projects currently in the works – including X-Men 3 and Logan’s Run – remains to be seen. Superman is slated to begin filming this fall in Australia.

"By the way, there was a rumor the other day that British actor Henry Cavill, a longtime contender to play the Man of Steel, would probably star in Logan’s Run instead. Logan’s Run is being made by Warner Brothers so perhaps something can be worked out."
