“Siren” calling Raimi

Ghost House picks up another project


According to the crew over at Variety, Sam Raimi & Rob Tapert’s production comapny “Ghost House Pictures”, have picked up the rights to a big selling Playstation 2 title, “Siren”.

The game focused on the tiny Japanese village of Hanuda, which experiences horrifying occurences once every thirty years, and featured ten original characters over the course of the game. The movie follows similar storylines, but will center on an American medical student searching for her missing sister in the village.

Michael Gordon (“300”) will pen the screenplay.
