Slater turns to video-games

Christian Slater could be on the verge of a comeback. The former 80’s bad-boy has been tapped to headline Artisan’s “Alone in the Dark” feature, based on the popular video game of the same name. With filming in Vancouver scheduled to begin July 14 and run through Aug. 2, the $20 million film will bow next year in conjunction with a new video game from Atari, the fifth in the best-selling game franchise. Slater was also rumoured to be linked to an action project called “Old Soldiers” co-starring with James Woods and Burt Reynolds, but Moviehole sources claim the project is now dead.
